3-(2-imidazolin-1-yl)propyltriethoxysilane(25 mmol)和1-chlorooctane(75 mmol)惰性气体保护下，353K搅拌24h。然后冷却至室温，通过减压蒸馏去除易挥发组分，（个人认为是去除过量的1-chlorooctane）。
然后粘稠液体用n-pentane洗涤3次，抽滤，烘干。（文献中：washing with n-pentane (50 mL × 3) and the evaporation to dryness）
最后用二氯甲烷萃取，用活性炭过滤。（文献中：filtration with activated carbon ）
