Actually, I don't memorize the new words on purpose. But if you focus on some kind of news, you will find some words appear frequently and then you know them.

It has been almost two years since the last time i buy a China Daily and read seriously. Once i tried to read through the whole newspaper and learn by heart every new word. But finally i failed, because there are so many new words, and it's really a hard work for me. Since then, i just read some  articles online.
It is a good habit to read english newspapers every moring, you will definitely benefit from it!
