2011 IEEE Recent Advances in Intelligent Computational Systems (RAICS 2011) September 22 - 24, 2011 Trivandrum, Kerala, India https://www.raics.org Important Dates Conference: 22-24 Sep. 2011 Paper Submission: 28 Feb 2011 Notification of Acceptance: 1 Jun 2011 Final Paper Submission: 1 Jul 2011 Call for Papers Paper Submission The adept learning and adopting ability of the human neuron grid has ever since fired research activities in intelligent computations. Modeling of the complex systems and evolving the intelligent thought process of the biological world into the computational machines has been primarily the objective of all computational systems. The fuzzy logic, neural networks and similar hybrid optimisation techniques are an attempt to conceptualise the human reasoning into the system models. The intelligent computational techniques blend with all facets of technological applications such as telecommunications, pattern recognition, bioinformatics and biomedical systems and more. The multitude of challenges faced in the implementation of these systems in terms of efficiency, speed, compactness and cost continue to inspire and keep the research active. The goal of the conference is to connect all the researchers and practitioners who are into computing paradigm and widen their knowledge database by mutual sharing. We invite participation and contribution of original research works in the myriad of topics listed below and not limited to: Intelligent Systems and Applications: • VLSI and Embedded Systems Applications • Intelligent Computations in Telecommunication • Intelligent Sensing and Control System • Robotics and Control • Automotive Electronics • Systems for Differently Abled ________________________________________ Signal Processing and Applications: • Intelligent Computation in Signal Processing • Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition • Image Processing and Multimedia Systems • Digital Audio Processing • Photonics and Optical Computing • Sensor Networks and Ambient Intelligence • Virtual Reality ________________________________________ Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems: • Knowledge Management • Expert Systems • SCADA Systems • Semantic Networks • Intelligent Networks and System Security • Neural Networks and Systems • Optimised Hybrid Techniques • Machine Learning • Cognitive Sciences ________________________________________ Emerging Computational Platforms: • Wireless Networks • Net Centric Computing • Wireless and Mobile Computing • Cloud Computing • Information Retrieval ________________________________________ Bioinformatics/ Medical Applications: • Biomedical Systems • Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Publications All accepted and presented papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings published by IEEE Press and indexed by IET Inspec. The Conference Proceedings will be available online on the IEEE digital library IEEE-Xplore. Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the Conference for their work to be published in the IEEE Conference Proceedings. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE RAICS 2011 Conference Proceedings. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE 2011 Conference Proceedings, in IEEE Xplore® and will be EI indexed.
