You are having the presure from repaying the loan you got from the bank when you bought an apartment. But you want to be a graduate student to get much more knowledge from school and laboratory. If so, you will be much more poor than nowadays. As a graduate student, your salary for each month is just much enough to live on. This condition you should consider before you make the final decision. In spite of this, I think, to be a graduate student is a good idea from the viewpoint of long-term.
