[交流] 【Discussion】What are we living for?

To be a valuable person is well known for everyone, but little could get it.

Fact 1: 13 years ago, her husband died from emergency, leaving her and her 7 years old heavily ill son. They rented a small room, just 9m2, and the only two electric appliances were electric baker and a white lighter. During the toughest 3 years, she almost ate sweet potato for meals, and lighted wax lighter.

Fact 2: It is this poor single mother that gets a honor as “blood-Donator mother”. For 13 years, she insisted on working for blood-giving station, and have donated blood 37 times, amounting to 16 thousand milliliters.

A saying from her”I don’t know whose body where my blood is running, but I know it can save their life.”

xuanxuankaoyan(金币+5, ESEPI+1):as you say, it is really a complicated question for our human beings. reationally and emotionally, it is difficults. Maybe just one reason for living, it is enough for one whole life. 2010-12-14 16:42:10

To be or not to be, that's a question! Occationly, the complicated world confused us and we almost lost the heart to go forward. Living for nothing may be the final excuse to escape. As a matter of fact, from the time we born down to the world, we started to suffer and save our life. That's why so human beings never ever are comfortable with their lives and bear so much complaints to the society though the civilization is developing all the time. As an emotional animal, the distiction determines those like you and me should take more responsibility to be dedicated. What we are living for is not what matters most, the most urgent thing is to think why it is us living in the world not others instead!
