I think so.As they stay for a long time together,they know much about each other.A person feels close to the one who knows much about him/her, especially when they see things in the same way.Deep affection can be built on the base of common words plus caring about each other.
In fact,there are more than one person who have common words with either of them,and affection can be built again with another person if enough time is given.What's more,the one you cann't get always seems to be the best,the things in memory always seem to be the most beautiful.

you have good opinion about love ,but it is too hard for many person to taste it and they often hurt by each other
