there is a saying recalling lots means you are old. so do i ! when seeing new face at thant time often arise memorize of  the one i was before. i like live with many classmates and play together we were so simple as freshman who always keep  curious about university life . after a long time , fewer and fewer person play together but have settled friends if have no love

but,actually,now,the situation becomes worse...that's the same.
Engish majors don't have any other specific skills,maybe just learn some more vocabulary than non-English majors.
and you know today,many scientific majors are good at English as well.

Since I've been a graduate student, the feeling came along with me, especially when I meet with junior fellow apprentice which is the same with you. Sometimes it make me worry while sometime I am feeling lucky to be older to learn something first and have the chance to learn things just belong to our generation. Every body /every generation has there proprietary life.
