[交流] 【Activity】weekly topic——which traditional festival do you like best?


In China， we have many traditional festivals,like Spring Festival,Tomb-sweeping Festival, Dragon Boat Festival,Begging for Skills Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival and so on~

among all  these festivals, which one do you like best?
can you share your stories about these festivals?



Spring Festival


It is the bigest festival for our chinese~~
In this day, we always spend time with our family together~~
All the members of the family gather to enjoy a reunion dinner~~

Tomb-sweeping Festival


It is a festival for us remember our ancestors.
In this day, we always go to visit our ancestral graves~~

Dragon Boat Festival

It is a festival which is celebrated in memory of Quyuan , an ancient poet and loyal minister who drowned himself into a river with a stone ,while in exile from a corrupt court.
In this day, we always eat rice dumplings and watch the dragon boat races~~

Begging for Skills Festival

The Begging for Skills Festival falls on the 7th Day of the Seventh Lunar Month.  In the past, it is the daughter's festival ,girls always together and bless for a skill , but nowadays it apprance more as a Valentine's Day of China~~

Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, when the moon looks roundest, representing family reunion, so the family members would get together on the day in any case. Also, people eat moon cake for this day~~

  Double Ninth Festival  

Chung Yeung Festival falls on the ninth day of the ninth moon, it is occasion for visiting ancestral graves,too~~ It is also called Day for the Aging,this day people often climb hills or mountains to look far into the distance.

i see a lot of replies which showed that most people thought spring festival was the most important festival.

yes ，it is. but in my opinion ，some traditional  festival such as  the Mid-Autumn Festival and Chung Yeung Festival should also be remembered as important festival. it is the culture which has literally passed through the hands of so many of our ancestors.

don't forget them ！~

Definitely the Spring Festival . There are a varioty of reasons . Firstly, it is a nice time for family bonding . People all over the nation treat this festival warmly.Some migrant workers have waited for ages to go home , and this festival is their best tiime to get together with their relatives. Therefor, it is a good time for family reunion. On that festival , we can watch fireworks display,  visit our relatives, and exchang our new year greetings. So Spring Festival is not only the most festive festival , but also a festival that we all celebrate!

Spring festival~
When I was a child, it meant I could eat much delicious food eveyday, wore beautiful clothes, played with my friends all day and no one would ask whether you had finished your homework. So, I always had to do my homework day and night before the new school term began, it's so cear in my mind
When I grow up, it means having meal with my family everyday, I can accompany my parents, meet relatives and friends whom we haven't seen each other for a long time.
And now spring festival means I am one year old, I need to become mature, take responsible for my life, think clearly do things I want to, work hard for my life and furture.

i know 除夕 is the spring festival eve~~
i just cant find a typical picture of spring festival so i use this one~~
