object:invitation of Mr.@#,Hebei University of science and technology(HEBUST) It it hereby confirmed that Mr.@#%,from the Hebei University of science and technology,is invited as a visiting scholoar, to spend 12 months in the Department Sciences Informatiques of the University of Cergy-Pontoise, for a visiting starting on the first of March,2010. During this visit, Mr.@# will be involved in our research activitied lead in ETIS(Equipes Traitement de I'information et Sysremes, UMR CNRS,http://www-etis.ensea.fr), in the field of information retrieval. It is expected that Mr.@# can improve his skills on multimedia document management, based on the expertise of the research group at ETIS called MIDI(Multimedia Indexing and Data Integration). Indeed, the research issues addressed in this group, namely image indexing,data integration and data mining,are relevant extensions of Mr.@#'s research work. Moreover, possoble international academic collaborations between HEBUST and the University of cergy-pontoise will be investigated, mainly related to the issue of student exchanges at Master and Ph.D.levels.
