[交流] 求助这段话是什么意思?

我投的是pdf的文件,后来发现刊物说不倾向于用pdf,就又换成了一个word文件,今天收到下面的一段话,
难道要我重新用他们说的软件写文章,其中还有个we ask,是强制的吗?有经验的朋友给点建议.
或者是嫌我现在还提交文章的修改稿?
现在状态还是submitted (文章提交处),作者信息处的状态是with editor.我不清楚到底现在处于什么状态?
还有我必须做些什么后他们才送稿?还是不理会这些提示?

PROBLEMS WITH MANUSCRIPT:

The following problems were noted in your manuscript upon receipt.
These should not hinder the review process. Please do not send a
revised manuscript or figures at this time.

* We much prefer to receive the TeX or Word source file (and PostScript
  figures) for manuscripts. This source file will be of help to
  editors and referees during the review process and will obviate the
  need to rekey your entire text in the production process. We ask
  that you resubmit such a file via http://authors.aps.org/esubs/. See
  http://authors.aps.org/esubs/guidelines.html#fileformat for details
  on file formats. We offer a waiver or discount of publication
  charges for such manuscripts.

* We prefer figures to be submitted electronically for all manuscripts.
  Our file preference is PostScript or Encapsulated PostScript (EPS).
  Each electronic figure (or well-separated figure part) should be
  contained in a separate file and clearly labeled. For Word and PDF
  submissions, all textual material AND figures should be in a single
  file but we do need separate electronic figure files as well for
  production purposes. PostScript files should print correctly on a
  PostScript printer that has not had any fonts or scripts downloaded
