青春不是生命的一个阶段，它是一种精神状态，不管是否有红润的脸庞，鲜红的嘴唇和柔软的双膝，它是一种愿望，想象的特质，炽热的感情，它是涌动的生命源泉。
青春意味着具有战胜懦弱的勇气和追求自由的欲望。相比于20岁的青年，60岁的老人更具有这些特质。人的变老不仅仅是岁月变迁，我们变老主要是因为对理想的遗弃。
岁月催生我们的皱纹，但不能磨灭我们的激情。忧虑，恐惧，没有信心，这些使我们的心灵蒙上尘埃。

英译汉

年轻不是生命中的一段时间，而是思想上的一种状态。它无关于红润的脸颊，红艳的嘴唇或灵活的膝盖，它只与意愿、丰富的想象以及旺盛的情感有关。它是一个人生命中的生机盎然的春天。
年轻意味着有性情主导的勇气战胜胆怯，对新奇事物的渴望代替安逸。这发生在一个60岁的老人身上，多过20岁的男孩。我们并没有因为年龄增加了几岁而变老。只有当我们背弃了理想，我们才会变老。
时间也许会给我们的脸上带来皱纹，但是（zxczhangjj 是啥玩意？）并不能改变我们的灵魂。
焦虑、恐惧、自卑只能使心灵扭曲，将青春变为尘埃。

汉译英

Dr Venter named this result as 'artificial cell' and put forward a landmark achievement, which will curve out the way for creating  benefit microorganism from nothing and doing research on vaccine and biofuel product. On Thurseday press conference, Dr. Venter discribe this cell as a first self-duplicating species  synthesized on this planet, which its mother is a computer.

If the technology of 'artificial cell' is mature, we wiil build a microorganism factory, which can produce microbial reagent, microbial fuel, and even microbial cleaner that can persistant pollutants , etc. For example, we may drive a car without refilling it, what we can do is producing a microorganism, putting it in to the car as the biofuel, and driving the car.

If the technical of “Artificial cells” has matured, In theory, we may build some microorganism factory to product microbial agent, microbial fuels ,even produce microbial cleaners which can break down the pollutants, and so on. Such as in the future we can drive the car without add oils, only need to make a bacterial and make it into the car as a bioenergy to drive the car.

Dr. Venter referred to this result as “synthetic cell” and suggested it to be a milestone achievement that will pave the way for de novo creation of beneficial microorganisms and development of vaccines and bio-fuel products. “The engineered cell with a computer as its mother is the first self-replicating species on the planet synthesized by us humans," Dr. Venter said at a press conference Thursday.
