Dear Colleagues, We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the Symposium 14 "Photon Absorption for Solar Energy Harvesting” in the XIX International Materials Research Congress in Cancun, Mexico (to be held August 15 - 20, 2010). Our symposium topics will include but not limited to: · Photon down conversion · Surface preparation for minimum reflection: texturing by random or patterned pyramids, antireflective coating stacks · Back-side mirrors · Bragg reflectors by material stacks or process induced · Solar cell designs with minimum front contact shadowing effect · Metal nanoparticles for plasmonics All abstracts should be submitted before April 30, 2010.
