Firstly, prepare the water solutions of given concentrations of acrylamide, pentaerythritol and ammonium cerium nitrate respectively. Add 50 ml of AM solution and a given volume of pentaerythritol solution to a reaction flask which is sealed after sufficient deoxigenation. Then add a given amount of ammonium cerium nitrate solution by injection, and mix it well by shaking the flask. Then put the flask in a thermostatic bath of a given temperature. After a given reaction duration, precipitate the mixture with a given amount of acetone. After being shredded michanically, the precipitate is immersed in acetone for 24h,and dried under room temperature ,and then distilled with acetone for a few hours in a column equipped with a reflux condenser to remove the monomer. Finally, the precipitate is dried to constant weight at 25 C in a vacuum oven.
