What is the difference between ¡°ÍâÓ and ¡°Speak English¡±? Ladies and gentlemen, please drop by and tell us your view about the above question. Let me say something, just serve as the brickbats to induce jade~~~~ (1) All the titles of the threads in ¡°waiyu¡± are in Chinese, while all those in ¡°SE¡± are in English; (2) Lots of suggestion and materials for learning English flood in ¡°Waiyu¡±, while only pure English discussion can be seen in ¡°SE¡±; (3) ¡°Waiyu¡± just like a noble lady dressed up, while ¡°SE¡± seems like neighborly girl; (4) ¡°Waiyu¡± just like a hall, SE looks more like a cafee; (5) ¡°Waiyu¡± boasts lots of English elites, SE is frequently haunted by low profile gentlemen. (6) ¡°Waiyu¡± has powerful admin teams with many experts and councilors; SE now is just a colony of ¡°Waiyu¡±. (7) ¡°Waiyu¡± contains lots of rubbish, SE has large space for you to dump. |

In my opinion, firstly, ¡°Waiyu¡±contains lots of information, ranging from many references to some suggestion on how to learn English. But in ¡°SE¡±, we can talk a lot with other people about everything from work to life. Just as you say, ¡°Waiyu¡± just likes a noble lady dressed up, while ¡°SE¡± seems like neighborly girl. Secondly, ¡°Waiyu¡± not only has English but also includes a lager amount of Chinses~~however, in ¡°SE¡±, the only language we communicate with each other is English~~~ [ Last edited by sammi_deng on 2010-4-4 at 17:47 ] |

why not integrate SE into Waiyu section? English obviously dominates the foreign languages that are most used in China, therefore, SE seems a little bit alien. |
