看看我这个句子这样写对吗？

The independent-model, which is widely used, is more objective and more universal than the dependent model 关键是中间的插入语“which is widely used”，可以这样用吗？以前我一直觉得这样用没有什么问题，但是今天另外一篇文章审了回来，其中有这样一句 The first expression , which is derived from the diffractive theory, is commonly used to calculate the scattering efficient. 审稿人让我将“which is ”删除。我没有搞懂这是为什么，难道不删除“which is"整个句子就是错的吗？ |
