| Exactly it is real difficult to figure out the state of Ag+ or nitrate in a non-aqueous solution. As you may know, "dissolution" is a serious of equilibration where involves in the creation of new species. The new species may be AgNO3 in molecular pairs, or the Ag+-solvent/Nitrate-solvent ions /anions species. The population is determined by the concentration, temperature etc. factors. You can determine the species in your conditions by some rough physical-chemical data based on reasonable equilibration. Currently I have no idea about how to figure out the species by regular experiments or equipments. Anyway, "solution" is much more complicate than gas or solid state. |
