我来更详细的解释一下，天大化学工程本科获得了化学工程师协会The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Master level级别的认证，获得这一级别认证的意义一方面表明国际化工界对天大化工教育质量和科研实力的承认，因为牛津、剑桥、帝国理工的级别也是master level，表明天大化工毕业的本科生与牛剑帝国理工的学生具有同等的资质；另一方面对学生的好处也是显而易见的，具备master level的学生再加上四年专业工作经验便可成为IChemE的membership，类似于学会计的具有注册会计师资格，当然会成为化工行业的香饽饽。

Tianjin University’s Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree programme has
been accredited by IChemE, marking the first time IChemE has accredited
a degree course in China.
Neil Atkinson, IChemE’s director of qualifications and international
development, says that he is “thrilled” that TJU has joined the ranks
of IChemE-accredited universities: “It is a significant milestone for
the institution”, he says.
Atkinson says the accreditation team was very impressed with the standard
of chemical engineering teaching at Tianjin: “IChemE has been working
closely with the university regarding reform of chemical engineering
education.  
“The School of Chemical Engineering has demonstrated real leadership in
introducing a new, enhanced curriculum. For example, it will be the first
chemical engineering degree in China to require students to carry out a
major, group-based process design project in their final year.
“Students will also find a greater emphasis on assessment by assignment
and project work, rather than examination,” says Atkinson.  
TJU is particularly well-known for its strength in the engineering
disciplines, and national evaluation exercises have consistently ranked
its School of Chemical Engineering as the country’s leading academic
institution in terms of teaching, research and reputation.  
A “national model” for higher education, TJU’s School of Chemical
Engineering plays a leading role in the development of chemical
engineering education across China.
TJU President Gong Ke has been a strong supporter of the university’s
wish to win IChemE accreditation, and has played a key role in ensuring
that the recent accreditation visit was a success.
