When I die, recompose me. --Katrina Spade, TED.
|
|
This is an brilliant and humanistic idea about funeral. Most of people will choose to be burned after they die. But the talker has a better idea, which uses bacteria and microbe to recompose the dead bodies into soil, that is the bacteria and microbe break down the bodies and turn them into soil that can breed plants well, like a lemon tree. The idea is so great that I have to share it with as many people as I can. First of all, it is more gentle to our planet, less energy-consuming and eco-friendly. Secondly, it may be easier to accept for people who is due to death. Above all, families OR loved ones can collect the soil from the recomposed dead bodies and utilize it to plant a tree, as a kind of memory. |
