Reviewers' comments: Reviewer #1: The topic of the manuscript has practical significance in many areas such as the coal mining and soft rock mining industry. The authors conducted a series of experiments based on the actual geological conditions. Then, the interaction between cracks, stress field and seepage field in floor rocks was studied. Finally, the evolutions of water inrush from floor cracks were obtained, and the monitoring of rock stress and seepage pressure were realized by virtue of sensors. The manuscript is well written and the obtained conclusions are useful. However, some of the details of the experiments are still not clear. Therefore, a revised version is suggested to improve the quality of the manuscript. Specific comments include: 1. Please explain with more details in the way to allow readers to have an insight of how the experimental procedures could have influenced in the results. Besides, the manuscript should provide some qualitative data on both the processes involved and the experimental apparatus, such as those presented Fig. 10. 3. There are no references to the principles of dimensional analysis and similitude that are the foundation of physical model studies. Please add some relevant content Reviewer #2: In this paper, the interaction between cracks, stress field and seepage field in floor rocks was studied by physical simulation, the evolution law of water inrush from floor cracks was obtained under the fluid-solid coupling effect, and the monitoring of rock stress and seepage pressure was realized by virtue of soil pressure and pore pressure sensors. This is a good study and its publication will be beneficial for scientific community and will add to the existing knowledge of the coal mining; similarity test; complete floor; confined water; visualization. This paper can be accepted for publication, if the following recommendations are incorporated: Conclusion: * Should be revised by including some findings with numeric results, not just explaining in general. 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |
