去英国访学的邀请函，请帮忙看一下如何修改 避免签证的时候麻烦 Dear Dr xxx Invitation for Clinical Fellowship It gives me great pleasure to invite you to come to the Sheffield Teaching Hospital, Sheffield, UK from 1.5.14 for a 12 month period as a Clinical Fellow to pursue research in reproductive medicine and surgery. I understand that you have been awarded a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council which provides financial support for your travel, health insurance and necessary expenses during your stay in the UK. I know from your curriculum vitae that you obtained your Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007 from the Second Military Medical University of Shanghai, China and I also know that you have completed a course on the advanced English training programme at the department for training scholars going to study abroad affiliated with the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China. The Sheffield Teaching Hospital does have accommodation for doctors in the hospital residence at 5 Beech Hill Road. Many Chinese scholars staying for 6-12 months do find it convenient to stay in the hospital residence and I would be more than happy to make the arrangements for you. During your stay in Sheffield, your research and programme will be jointly supervised by myself and Mr Mostafa Metwally, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Honorary Senior Lecturer in the University of Sheffield. |

① 英方邀请人在邀请信中一定要明确写明被邀请人的赴英身份，只能写为“ACADEMIC VISITOR”，而不能用“VISITING SCHOLAR”、“VISITING ACADEMIC”或“SPONSORED RESEARCHER”等称呼，同时也要绝对禁止使用“WORK”、“STUDY”等字眼。特别是要绝对禁止提到希望或愿意加入到英国邀请方已经或即将建立的“正式研究项目”(FORMAL RESEARCH PROJECT)中。 ② 英方邀请人在邀请信中一定要详细说明被邀请人的个人赴英研究目的和计划，一定要强调被邀请人是从事独立性的研究。 ③ 申请“访问学者”(ACADEMIC VISITOR)类别签证，邀请信中不能提及安排参加英国院校的课程学习，否则将被视为学生身份。 |
