APCloudCC 2012-IEEE Asia Pacific Cloud Computing Congress 2012(Ei,IEEE)
IEEE Asia Pacific Cloud Computing Congress 2012
Wuzhou Guest House, Shenzhen, China
November 14- 17, 2012
Web site - http://www.apcloudcc.org/
Chinese - http://cloud.siat.ac.cn/apcloudcc/
IEEE has recently launched its new Cloud Computing Initiative to stimulate the innovation and dissemination of Cloud Computing technologies and applications. This initiative will include a wide range of conferences, publications, standards, and testbed activities for the technical communities worldwide. This is one of the major events that are held in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and USA. The effort is kicking off with the introduction of two new standards development projects, IEEE P2301™, Draft Guide for Cloud Portability and Interoperability Profiles, and IEEE P2302™, Draft Standard for Intercloud Interoperability and Federation.
The Congress is a major event of IEEE Cloud Computing Initiative. It provides a stimulating forum for researchers, government agencies, service providers, end-users and IT experts to exchange ideas, research results, experience and case studies related to cloud computing. The Congress will include invited keynotes and panels by eminent leaders in cloud computing as well as presentations of peer-reviewed papers. Final papers will be compiled in the APCloudCC Conference Proceedings and listed in the IEEE Xplore (IEEE Catalog Number CFP1275T-USB and ISBN 978-1-4673-2902-6).
The Congress is organized by IEEE and Shenzhen Municipal Government, and co-organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Shenzhen Base), Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology and Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute. The Congress is also technically sponsored by IEEE Beijing Section.

Call for Papers
Cloud Computing is the latest model of computing in which computing resources and data are held in big data centers remotely and are accessible over the Internet from anywhere, as if the services are located inside the “Cloud”. We are catapulted into this nebulous state by the powerful convergence of widespread broadband access, the global deployment of mobile devices enabling near-constant connectivity and hundreds of innovations that have made data centers much easier to build and operate.
The Congress is the major event of IEEE Cloud Computing Initiative, this Congress provides a stimulating forum for researchers, government agencies, service providers, end-users and IT experts to exchange ideas, research results, experience and case studies related to cloud computing. The Congress will include invited keynotes and panels by eminent leaders in cloud computing as well as presentations of peer-reviewed papers. Congress topics include but are not limited to:
◆ Infrastructure as a Service
◆ Platform as a Service
◆ Software as a Service
◆ Resources management
◆ Security
◆ Case studies
◆ Education
◆ Software engineering
◆ Database management
◆ Standardization
Paper Submission
Submitted papers must not have been published previously and they must not be currently under consideration for publication at another conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in any of the technical areas listed above. Authors are encouraged to submit an abstract before the full paper submission so that comments may be provided for preparing the full paper.
Full paper should adhere to the standard IEEE double-column format and must not exceed four A4 pages. The accepted papers will be presented in lecture or poster sessions, and will be published in the final conference proceedings - accessible via IEEE Xplore - and would be cited in the Engineering Index (EI) under the current agreement between IEEE and EI Compendex.
