以前中过几篇Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry,这次还想尝试。结果被拒。理由如下
Thank you for your submitting your paper. I understood that your paper treats with interesting compounds and presents valuable data. However, Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry will not be the most appropriate journal to publish your paper. Your paper seems to be pure analytical and treats with spectroscopic analysis of compounds (majority of the treated compounds seems known compounds, even if not all) with nucleic acid coupled with evaluation of their cytotoxicity. Please consider to submit your paper to other specified journals, i.e., nucleic acid research/anti-tumor agents-oriented journals. I am very sorry that I cannot give a more positive reply in a case such as this one. We are sorry to have to disappoint you, but trust that you will understand our decision.

芳香母体DNA嵌入剂,所研究的化合物基本都被报道过(自己或者同门,还有老外报道的)。细胞毒性测试发现,这些化合物并不像以前这类化合物构效关系研究的那样,和大牛报道的结果有所不同。利用紫外、荧光、圆二色研究化合物与DNA的相互作用,光谱结果发现这些化合物以少见的形式嵌入DNA.,仅有两例同样现象被报道。
问题:1 化合物不新颖;2 尽管我测试的细胞和牛人们用的相同,而且他们只测试这类化合物对一种肿瘤细胞的毒性然后就做构效关系研究并得出结论, 我的结果和他们的报道有些差别,但是这可以解释为取代基效应导致细胞毒性差异,并且我研究的细胞种类少;3 拿到化合物晶体结构,以为没啥用给报道了,后来看文献多了 才知道这个的分量。
