Mater. 2, 1600283, 2016; Nature Materials 14, 193, 2015 ; Nano Letters 15, 3547, 2015; ACS Nano 9, 8089, 2015. 英文简介： PhD student positions in advanced scanning probe microscopy of functional materials in the group of Dr. Pankaj Sharma at the College of Science & Engineering, Flinders University, Bedford Park, Adelaide, Australia. Our group currently has openings for PhD students. We employ a wide range of experimental material characterization techniques including cutting-edge scanning probe microscopy and spectroscopic techniques to study the properties of advanced functional materials, surfaces and interfaces at the nanometre length scales for potential applications in low-energy data storage, agile nanoelectronics, sustainable energy harvesting and biomedical devices and implants. The research focuses on (multi-) ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics, oxide heterostructures/interfaces, 2D van der Waals materials, halide perovskites, battery materials, and related electronic and energy materials among others. We are seeking highly motivated postgraduate students with research interests (broadly) in the synthesis and characterization of advanced functional and electronic materials. Students with degrees in materials science, physics, chemistry, mechanics, and engineering are encouraged to apply.
