The Dong group is looking for enthusiastic students and researchers. Our research topics include functional nanomaterials design and synthesis, soft materials and robots, and energy harvesting/sensing devices. Students with background/interest in one of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply: materials science, solid mechanics and biomedical engineering. Our group seeks to advance knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals in materials and biomedical science that will lead to innovations and improvements in medical treatment.
* Three positions available: two Ph.D. students (spring 2022 and fall 2022) and one postdoc (open until filled).
