美国康涅狄格大学柔性传感器课题组招全奖博士生
The Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Institute of Materials Science (IMS) at the University of Connecticut (UConn) are seeking to
hire multiple fully-funded PhD students. The project will be carried out at the University of Connecticut under Prof. Zhang supervision. The
research focus in Prof. Zhang’s group is in the emerging area of flexible electronics, soft microfluidics, and electronic neural interfaces. More

PhD Positions
• A bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a closely
related area
• Research experience and publications is preferred but not required

About Dr. Zhang:
Dr. Yi Zhang is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He obtained his
Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and did his postdoc with Prof. John A. Rogers at Northwestern
University. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Missouri. His current research group
focuses on in soft materials, electronic neural interfaces, and wearable molecular sensors for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. His
recent work has been published on PNAS, Science Advances, Nature Communications, and Lab on a Chip.
