香港中文大学顾燊实验室招收博士生

香港中文大学生物医学学院招收全奖博士生 香港中文大学生物医学学院顾燊教授课题组现招收博士生，并提供全额奖学金。课题组专注于利⽤外显⼦和全基因组测序等先进⼿段探寻罕见遗传病的致病基因，并利用细胞及动物模型深入研究基因变异的致病机理。 申请者需拥有生命科学或医学相关专业的本科或硕士学历；英语流利，具有良好的沟通能力；积极进取，有独立从事科研工作的能力及团队协作精神。详细申请方式请浏览：https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/admissions/admissions/requirements. 有意者请直接联系顾燊教授：shengu@cuhk.edu.hk 导师信息：https://www2.sbs.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/people/academic-staff/prof-gu-shen-linda Applicants are invited for Ph.D. study in Prof. Shen Gu’s research lab at the School of Biomedical Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (https://www2.sbs.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/people/academic-staff/prof-gu-shen-linda). Full annual studentship of HK$216,300 will be provided. Prof. Gu’s lab focuses on exploring the causes and clinical consequences of human genetic diseases. Through analysis of whole genome sequencing data in patients, novel disease-causing genes are identified. Subsequently, the novel genes and mutations are functionally characterized through cellular and model organisms’ studies. Applicants should have (i) a BSc or MPhil degree in the area of life sciences or biomedical research; (ii) fluent in English with good communication skills; (iii) highly motivated and independent research attitude; (iv) teamwork spirit.
