post-doc opportunities in smart transport at hk polyu The department of civil and environmental engineering at the hong kong PolyU (香港理工大学) is looking for postdoctoral research associate working on smart mobility and transportation modeling. here are the detailed requirements: • ph.d. in engineering, computer science, math, economy, or related areas • good publication and research records • be familiar with at least one programming languages • have solid math, optimization, transportation, data mining, or machine learning backgrounds research fields: • multi-modal transportation network modeling • data-driven modeling and optimization • machine learning and data mining in infrastructure systems • transportation operation and management • dynamic large-scale network simulation • urban computing • smart cities if you are interested, please send your cv and transcripts to dr. ma wei (wei.w.ma@polyu.edu.hk). the salary depends on the performance and background of the candidates. hong kong government is also offering a prestigious postdoc fellowship. top-ranked candidate will be recommended to apply.
