求前辈师兄师姐指教!!!已有1人参与
研三硕士,投稿快俩个月,第一次投外文,请问这是大修,还是拒稿啊,还有修改的必要吗,原本想投个会议的,老师不让,就试了试这个期刊。
Dear Mr Wang,
Thank you for your recent e-mail about your manuscript, TRES-LET-2019-0708, entitled 'Research on large-scale public remote sensing data reception in crowdsourcing mode', which you submitted to Remote Sensing Letters. Thank you also for your reply to my query about the manuscript's length.
The journal has a focus on publishing shorter manuscripts, about 6 journal pages in length and with a strict upper limit of 10 journal pages. My estimate is that your manuscript is about 12 pages long and so will not meet the 10-page limit. This estimate is made up of (approximately):
- 6 pages of main text (at 500 words/page)
- 0.5 page for the equations
- 1.5 pages for the reference list
- 0.5 page for the table
- 3.5 pages for the figures (at an average of 2 figures/page)。
Would you please, therefore, reduce the length of the manuscript by at least 2 pages, using the above details as a guide. Alternatively, you might consider withdrawing the letter and submitting the manuscript to the International Journal of Remote Sensing as a regular paper instead.
You will be unable to make your revisions on the originally submitted version of your manuscript. Instead, revise your manuscript using a word processing program and save it on your computer.
To submit a revised, shortened manuscript, go to https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tres and login to your "Corresponding Author Centre". Click on "Manuscripts with Decisions," and then click on "Create a Resubmission" located next to the manuscript number. Then, follow the steps for resubmitting your manuscript.
Because Remote Sensing Letters focuses on manuscripts for which timeliness of publication is important, your resubmission should be uploaded and submitted within six weeks. If you should need more time than six weeks, please let me know, otherwise we may have to consider your resubmission as an entirely new submission.
Once again, thank you for submitting your manuscript to Remote Sensing Letters and I look forward to receiving your revision.
Yours sincerely
Dr Craig Cassells
