We would like to inform you that your application requires additional administrative processing. Some refused visa applications may require further administrative processing. When administrative processing is required, the consular officer will inform the applicant at the end of the interview. The duration of the administrative processing will vary based on the individual circumstances of each case. NOTE: In case you want to track your current passport status which was submitted to the Embassy, please, send an email to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled, and you will receive an automatic response with the status. We understand that you want to speed up your application process. As per the application guidelines, all applicants are requested to apply timely in order to obtain their visa prior to their departure date. It is up to the US Visa Consular Officer who reviewed your application to decide whether or not there is any need to speed up the process as per your departure date. It's not advised to make firm travel plans (purchasing tickets, paying for hotel accommodation, etc.) until you will receive your passport with visa after adjudication in the Embassy.
