(HMS-MGH) Martinos Center. Dr. Yu is the Director of the Small Animal Scanning Facility of Martinos Center. We have access to the state-of-the-art 9.4T and 14.1T animal MRI scanner (horizontal), and 4.7T MRI/PET for animal studies. Also, we have access to human MRI scanners from 1.5 to 7T Siemens scanner and PET imaging. There are also strong optical imaging, RF engineering, and molecular/chemical compound design collaborative environments. Dr. Yu also has the access based on collaboration to 9.4T human and 14.1T MRI (26 cm in bore magnet) in Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Tuebingen, Germany, and 11.7T MRI (30cm in bore magnet) at National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA.

Yu lab has the experience to support students to apply for CSC scholarship. We have two students supported by CSC (2014-2018) to publish in Nature Communications (including the student's mentor in China). In 2018, one PhD graduate from Yu lab obtained a CSC International Graduate Award.
Lately, Yu lab is translocating from Max Planck Institute from Germany to MGH/HMS, USA in 2020. We also offer financial support to potential candidates (Postdoc) who are qualified for specific research projects in HMS-MGH. The candidates need to meet the criteria with competitive publication records and strong references. We are welcoming young and motivated students to join us now.
