圣母大学计算机博士招生 PhD opportunity at University of Notre Dame (Department of Computer Science and Engineering) Openings: The Social Sensing Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (http://cse.nd.edu/) has multiple openings for Ph.D. students to work under the guidance of Dr. Dong Wang (http://www3.nd.edu/~dwang5/) starting from Summer/Fall 2020. Prospective students with an M.S. or B.S. degree (or expected by the time of admission) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on exciting research projects in emerging areas of big data, networking and systems, AI and edge computing. Examples include: (1) big data analytics, human-centric AI; (2) social sensing, crowdsourcing, human-cyber-physical systems; (3) smart cities, Internet of Things/Everything (IoT/IoE), intelligent edge; (4) misinformation detection on online social networks. Preferred candidates should have a strong background in data analytics/networking/statistics/embedded systems/distributed systems and/or solid system implementation and development skills.
