Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Assistant and/or PhD student positions at PolyU The lab of food for health led by Dr. Yuyan Zhu in the Department of Applied biology and chemical technology at PolyU has several positions open. Dr. Yuyan Zhu’s lab (https://yyzhu.weebly.com) studies the role of functional food components/nutrients in ameliorating lipid metabolism disorders, such as obesity and its associated metabolic syndromes, with the focus on adipose tissue. We are inviting responsible and passionate team members. Qualifications 1) For postdoc position, applicants should have a doctoral degree in biology, biochemistry, nutrition, animal science, food science, biomedical engineering or related disciplines. 2) For research assistant position, applicants should have a bachelor or master’s degrees in related disciplines. 3) For PhD student position, applicants should have bachelor’s or master’s degree in related disciplines. Preferences will be given to applicants with 1) Excellent communication and writing skills 2) Experiences in cell culture and mouse handling. Remuneration and location: A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
