美国University of Nebraska-Lincoln崔柏课题组诚招博士研究生
Two Ph.D. Research Assistant position are available in the research area of materials (metals or ceramics) or advanced manufacturing, starting from spring 2020. The candidates are expected to have Master and Bachelor degrees in Materials Science or Engineering, Laser Processing, Nuclear Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline. The candidates with a Master degree and publications are preferred. Candidates need to satisfy UNL’s Graduate Admission Requirements in English (TOEFL 79 or IETLS 6.5, and a GRE score). The successful candidates will join in Dr. Bai Cui’s research lab at the department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). Dr. Cui leads the Advanced Materials and Manufacturing for Extreme Environments Laboratory, which aims to discover new materials that can withstand extreme environments, as well as developing novel advanced manufacturing processes for these materials.

UNL is the Flagship University of the State of Nebraska, USA, and is an active member of the “Big Ten Conference”. Its Engineering Programs are expanding in recent years, and currently ranks approximately 80 in the US NEWS. Lincoln is a city ranked as one of the happiest city in the US, with a very safe environment, friendly people, clean air, short commutes, and a very low living cost. Omaha is about 40 minute drive.
