Application deadline: July 1st, 2019 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Future Communications Laboratory (FLY) at University of Naples Federico II, Italy, is looking for PostDoc Fellows. The salary can be negotiated, starting from 1.612 Euros per month after tax, including social welfare charges. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable upon mutual satisfaction for up to three years. The starting date is expected to be Fall 2019, once the suitable candidates pass the open competition announced by the University. The selected candidates will make significant contributions to the direction and progress of FLY projects in the area of Quantum Internet design, pursuing research in addition to working closely with the other team members. The candidates should meet the following criteria: - Holding a Ph.D. qualification in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related engineering disciplines - Strong track record of research and peer-reviewed publications in a directly relevant area, such as wireless communications, computer networks, signal processing or quantum information processing. - Excellent written and communication skills in English. - High level of inter-personal skills - Ability to take the initiative in research planning, and to contribute to wider research community activities.
