Advanced Quantum-Nano Materials & Optoelectronics Laboratory (AQNMOL) Scholarship Program for 2020 1st semester (Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea) !! Scholarship Program for the PhD Degree and Integrated MS-PhD Degree in Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea available for the 1st semester 2020, starting March 2020. Advanced Quantum-Nano Materials & Optoelectronics Laboratory (AQNMOL) is seeking 3-5 PhD and MS-PhD degree students who are interested in the following research area. Research Area: Nanomaterials based devices and Optoelectronic Applications Kwangwoon University is in Seoul, capital of South Korea. 实验室网站主页Lab Website: http://aqnmol.kw.ac.kr/ Advisor: Prof. Jihoon Lee in Electronics Engineering Over 120 SCI papers. (http://aqnmol.kw.ac.kr/PUBLICATIONS.html) AQNMOL will offer: 1. Diverse research activities a) Meta-surface based Photo-detectors by using NPs b) Meta-surface based Bio-sensors by SERS c) Meta-surface based Fuel-Cells by Hybrid NPs d) More 2. Lab owned research equipment: lab is equipped for most of necessary equipment. 3. Modern lab environments: self-motivation and guidance combined system. AQNMOL will support the full scholarship (tuition) and living expenses for the appropriate candidates. Deadline: before 15 July 2019 Submission: Documents marked with * are compulsory and should be submitted before 15 July 2019 to jihoonleenano@gmail.com (Prof. Jihoon Lee). Necessary documents: 1. Resume/C.V. with a recent picture showing a face * 2. M.S. or Bachelor of Science in Electronics / Electrical / Semiconductor / Communication engineering, Physics, Nano-science, Nanotechnology or equivalent. 3. Transcript and Graduation Certificates: High School / Bachelor / MS * 4. English & Language score: TOEFL 500(CBT 179 iBT61), IELTS 5.0, CEFR B1, TEPS 483, TOPIK 3rd grade above (Mandatory)* Procedures: 1. Applicaiton submission by 15 July 2019. 2. Online interviews in July 2019. 3. Need to prepare the necessary documents in September 2019. 4. Submission of all the necessary documents in October 2019. 5. Official notification of acceptance from school in November or December 2019. 6. Visa preparation in December 2019 or January 2020. 7. Arrival to South Korea at the end of Feburary 2020. 8. Semester begins in the first week, March 2020. |
