Introduction of the Lab Director https://ruiliurobotics.weebly.com/ Rui Liu is currently a postdoc at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, working with Prof Katia Sycara. He got his Ph.D. degree from Colorado School of Mines at 2018 spring and his master degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Before coming to US, Rui was a research engineer in the Chinese Academy of Science. His research focuses on cognitive understanding for self-reflective robotic systems in dynamic environments. He has finished more than 20 high-quality publications and patents. He currently serves as a committee member or reviewer for more than 15 impactful journals/conferences, including top robotics conferences AAMAS and ICRA. In ICRA 2015, his work “robots learn commonsense from web” was nominated as three best conference paper awards. |
