密苏里大学全奖博士-流体方向-2019年秋季
The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering of the University of Missouri invites applicants for Ph.D. studies in Water Resources and Engineering starting in Fall 2019. We seek two skilled and motivated individuals to work on various research projects related to turbulent mixing/transport and multiphase plumes. The candidates will perform routine office works on data analysis and/or lab/field experiments. Students will be funded through Research Assistantships or Graduate Fellowships.
The candidates will study fundamental and applied fluid dynamics problems in aquatic environments. Students with degree in Civil, Mechanical, and Ocean Engineering, or a closely relate field are encouraged to apply. Preferred qualifications include experiences in experimental/theoretical/computational fluid mechanics, environmental hydraulics, physical limnology/oceanography, wave dynamics, instrumentation programming, and one or more programing languages (Matlab, Python, C++, etc.). We are particularly interested in the candidates who have experiences with turbulence data analysis, and use of PIV, ADV, ADCP, etc.
Interested candidates should contact Dr. Binbin Wang at wangbinb@missouri.edu and attach a curriculum vitae and a brief statement of research interests. To apply to the Department of Civil and Engineering graduate program, please visit https://gradstudies.missouri.edu/degreecategory/civil-and-environmental-engineering.
