At UoM, the candidate will work on an internationally collaborative project aiming at developing computational models which are capable of predicting the flow field around and the propulsive and drag acting on a biomimetic swimmer at Reynolds number less than 1. Successful completion of the project will lead to publication of at least two international journal papers. The candidate is expected to have a strong background in mathematics and programming. Preference will be given to candidates who have a good track record of research publications appropriate at their level and are proficient in English.
