School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology of China (SUSTech), is seeking for Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Fellow. Research interests: Plant responses to plant-microbe interactions; mechanism of pollutants uptake; ecological restoration and implications; others For Research Assistant, the candidate should: 1. have obtained a Master degree within recent two years (or will obtain soon) in environmental science, soil science, molecular biology, microbiology, ecology, botany or other related disciplines; 2. experiences in conducting molecular biology experiments, bacteria culturing, soil properties analysis, bacterial community and ecosystem functions analysis (using python and QIIME) are preferred; 3. have published at least one paper in SCI journal. Duties and responsibilities: 1. conduct experiments; 2. assist in paper drafting; 3. assist in funding application. For Postdoctoral Fellow, the candidate should: 1. have obtained a PhD degree within recent two years (or will obtain soon) in environmental science, soil science, molecular biology, microbiology, ecology, botany or other related disciplines; 2. Solid experiences in molecular biology experiments, bacteria culturing, soil properties analysis, in-depth bacterial community and ecosystem functions analysis (using python and QIIME) are preferred; 3. have published at least two papers in SCI journals. Duties and responsibilities: 1. assist in supervising postgraduate students; 2. paper drafting; 3. assist in funding application (applying grants as a principal investigator is encouraged).
