Research Fellow (Postdoc) and Senior Research Fellow on computational imaging
25-Jul-2018
We are looking for two motivated research fellows or senior research fellows to join a young, dynamic and well-funded team to work on optical imaging or projecting through strongly scattering media, and single pixel imaging. The new members will focus on building strong algorithm to:
1. extract information from seemingly random speckle images,
2. control light beam to create a desire pattern on the other side of scattering medium,
3. utilize the transfer matrix of light through a thich scattering medium for imaging.
The new members will take the leading role in algorithm development and work with our optical team with various background on optical system, optical imaging, optical microscopy to explore fundamental research and to realize technology. Please refer to our recent works for more detail [1,2,3]. Candidates should have very good experience in some of the followings: algorithm development, signal processing, computational imaging, compress sensing, communication theory, optical speckle physics. Excellent coding skill is required, optics background is an asset for these positions.
If you have a suitable skill set, please send your CV and/or discuss with us in detail. Besides the CV/Resume, some PowerPoint slides (8-10 slides) that present your experience in the field will be very useful.
Very attractive package with salary range: 4000 – 7000 SGD per month + (plus benefits) + yearly bonus (1-3 monthly salary). Join our team, working in a professional environment and living in beautiful Singapore, one of the greenest modern cities on earth!
Interested candidates please send your CV with contacts of 3 references to both: hcdang @ntu.edu.sg & wang.dong @ ntu.edu.sg. Please indicate: “Application for research positions in CDG” in the email’s subject.

Research Positions on computational display
25-Jul-2018
We are looking for three motivated researchers at different levels: research associates (with master degree), research fellows (with PhD degree) or senior research fellows to join a young, dynamic and well-funded team working on a computational display technology. Our EyeFyx project aims to correct for farsighted and presbyopic vision when looking at digital screens, but without the need to wear glasses [1,2]. Optical components (hardware) will be developed by an optical team to guide light from every pixel in desired directions, adding two more degrees of control (alpha and theta angles) in a conventional screen. The new members will focus on building strong algorithms to render sharp images on user's retina within the time limit of video frame rate. Beside fundamental research findings, scientific publications, we aim for technology realization and comercialization.
Candidates should have very good experience in some of the followings: algorithm development, optimization, computational display, light field display, glasses-free 3D display. Excellent coding skill is required, optics background is an asset for these positions. If you have a suitable skill set, please send your CV and/or discuss with us in detail. Besides the CV/Resume, some PowerPoint slides (8-10 slides) that present your research experience will be very useful.
Very attractive package with salary range: 3000 – 10000 SGD per month + (plus benefits) + yearly bonus (1-3 monthly salary). Join our team, working in a professional environment and living in beautiful Singapore, one of the greenest modern cities on earth!
Interested candidates please send your CV with contacts of 3 references to: hcdang @ ntu.edu.sg. Please indicate: “Application for research positions in CDG” in the email’s subject.

Smart phone application developer
25-Jul-2018
We are looking for a motivated developer to join a young, dynamic and well-funded team working on a computational display technology. The new member will focus on developing applications for smartphones (both Android and iOS) to enable our solution. The application should utilize the phone camera to enable different features such as: face recognition, simple object detection, eye tracking. The app then controls the screen to display algorithmic images. The apps will run as a stand-alone application in smartphones or integrated in operating system to overwrite the displayed images.
Candidates should have very good experience and interest in software development, mobile apps, algorithm development. Candidate must have a Bachelor degree or above.
Very attractive package with salary range: 3000 – 7000 SGD per month + (plus benefits) + yearly bonus (1-3 monthly salary). Join our team, working in a professional environment and living in beautiful Singapore, one of the greenest modern cities on earth!
Interested candidates please send your CV (resume) with contacts of 3 references to: hcdang @ ntu.edu.sg. Please indicate: “Application for research positions in CDG” in the email’s subject. |
