Prof. Kourosh Kalantar-Zadeh将于今年八月份从RMIT到UNSW任职，组内现有博士招生计划。Kalantar-Zadeh教授的研究涉及化学，材料，电子器件和微流体等多个领域，在很多顶级期刊上发表过具有广泛影响力的文章。Kalantar-Zadeh教授希望能够招收国内名校已获得硕士学位的研究生去组内做PhD。从和他交流看来，他看重绩点和英语能力(需要托福或雅思成绩)，而专业背景相关即可。符合要求的同学可以直接联系他，把申请材料发送至k.kalantar-zadeh@unsw.edu.au。 更多信息见下文： Prof. Kalantar-Zadeh invites applications for PhD study at the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. The research scopes of Prof. Kalantar-Zadeh's group are highly multidisciplinary. Graduate students background in chemical engineering, material Science, electronics, mechanical engineering, or other related fields are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and writing skills in English are essential. A master's degree and good IELTS or TOEFL scores are required for the applicants. Scholarships are possible for outstanding candidates. Interested applicants should email their application to Prof. Kalantar-Zadeh directly (k.kalantar-zadeh@unsw.edu.au). Kourosh Kalantar-Zadeh will start his professorial position at the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia from the 1st of August 2018. He is currently a Distinguished Professor in School of Engineering and the Director of the Centre for Advanced Electronics and Sensors (CADES) at RMIT, Melbourne, Australia. Prof. Kalantar-Zadeh's discoveries and breakthroughs span the fields of liquid metals, electronic materials, two dimensional semiconductors, microfluidics and ingestible medical devices. Prof Kalantar-Zadeh has nearly published 400 scientific papers in prestigious journals including Science, Nature Electronics, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Advanced Materials and Gastroenterology. Prof. Kalantar-Zadeh serves as an editorial board member of journals such as Applied Materials Today, ACS Sensors, ACS Applied Nano Materials and Nano-Micro Letters. Prof. Kalantar-Zadeh has been awarded many national and international awards including the 2017 IEEE Sensor Council Achievement and 2018 American Chemical Society Advances in Measurement Science Lectureship (Asia-Pacific region) awards for his achievements in the fields of sensors and materials. |
