Assistant Director /Director， Discovery Biology Dept., Shanghai Key activities 1. Design, develop, validate and execute biochemical and cell-based assays of various targets and disease areas and provide in vitro screening support for small molecule drug discovery projects 2. Be responsible for troubleshooting, coordinating and leading research projects 3. Lead project team to plan and conduct the experiments, providing training and guidance to team members. Draft and document experimental SOPs 4. Design experimental methods and draft study proposal in response to clients’ inquiry 5. Maintain close and effective communication with clients through emails or teleconferences. Report study progress, deliver high quality data and report within designated turnaround time. Requirements 1. PhD with more than 4 years of relevant experience. Industry experience is a major plus 2. Solid knowledge and understanding on cell and molecular biology, cell signaling, and preclinical drug discovery 3. Experience and proficiency in a wide range of molecular and cell biological techniques 4. Experience and proficiency in plate-based biochemical and cell-based assay development and validation, compound screening, hit to lead discovery and SAR assay support 5. Strong scientific problem solving skills, with good working knowledge of experimental design, data analysis and study report writing 6. Strong organization, communication and teamwork skills 7. Self-motivated and ability to work independently. 8. Good laboratory practices and coordinate effectively with teams 9. Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese [ 来自版块群 上海 ] |
