加拿大UBC大学招木质素高分子化学博士后已有6人参与

从事木质素纤维素化学改性研究，3d打印材料，纳米材料自组装。 要求具有高分子化学，纤维素/木质素化学，有机化学等相关背景。 首聘期一年，根据经费和科研情况可以考虑续聘或推荐申请加拿大政府博士后基金 有意者请发简历至 feng.jiang@ubc.ca 一些要求 Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications: • A recent Ph.D. in wood chemistry, polymer chemistry and engineering, organic chemistry, materials science and engineering, or related discipline; • Strong background in organic synthesis and grafting polymerization; • Relevant experience in lignin chemistry; • Hand on experience in organic synthesis, and characterization using NMR, GPC, MS, FTIR, SEM, TEM, and thermal analysis; • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English; • Initiative, self-motivation and attention to detail; Job responsibility: • Analytical characterization of lignin structure and molecular weight from different fractionation process; • Develop reaction schemes to modify lignin with improved thermal/solution processability; • Design high performance hierarchical structures (fibers, films, aerogel, hydrogels) using chemically modified lignin; • Exploration of the application of lignin-based materials as structural and functional materials; • Preparation of lab report and manuscript for publication; • Presentation at international conferences. |
