Computational Biology of Aging Postdoctoral Fellow Position at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai 纽约西奈山医学院是全美排名前二十的大型医院及医学研究机构。以实验室为单位获得NIH资助金额全美排名第二， NIH总资助全美排名第十三，地处纽约曼哈顿中央公园旁，学术气氛极为浓厚。现有由NIH/NIA资助科研项目诚招生物信息方向博士后。 基本要求: 已经或即将获得博士学位，从事过生物信息研究，有相关的数理统计学基础，对处理生物大数据有一定经验。对用生物大数据来探索生命奥秘有极大兴趣。 Icahn Genomics and Multiscale Biology Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine invites applications for a research scientist at the level of postdoctoral fellow to work on computational biology/bioinformatics research. The group focuses on developing novel computational methods to best leverage the big biomedical data generated at Mount Sinai and existed in the public domain. Our goal is to better understand human aging and how it links to various age-related diseases. Candidates with recent PhD degree in computational biology and bioinformatics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or related majors are encouraged to apply. Solid computer programming, statistical, and machine learning skills are desirable. Previous experience in large data handling including gene expression (microarray and/or RNA-seq), NGS, network analysis and/or predictive modeling is preferred. We provide competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Housing subsidy is provided to selected candidate.
