Research Fellow Job Description The project aims to develop a GIS based maintenance strategy for underground reinforced concrete tunnels for the existing MRT network and apply it to a sector of MRT tunnels. The Research Fellow will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and team members to ensure the successful and timely completion of research project. The candidate is expected to fulfil the following roles and responsibilities: 1) perform detailed literature review on concrete durability model 2) help to propose simplified durability model of tunnel structures 3) build GIS model including different layers including basic layer (MRT line), data layer (various testing data) and outcome layer (durability assessment) 4) prepare project reports. Job Requirements The research fellow is expected to: 1) have a PhD degree from a reputable university, preferably in Civil Engineering. 2) have excellent technical skills in concrete durability and GIS. 3) have experience on ArcGIS 3) have strong communication skills in both oral and written English We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
