Job Description:
The Energy Harvesting and Wearable Energy Technologies Laboratory led by Prof. Walid Daoud (https://www.daoudgroup.net) in the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong is seeking to recruit 1~2 enthusiastic, self-motivated Postdoctoral Fellows or Research Assistants with a strong experimental background in one or more of the following areas: (1) Aerogel synthesis, characterization, and application; (2) Design of power management circuit for wearable energy harvesting devices. The position is available now for a term of one year initially with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications:
•        For Postdoctoral Fellows: Ph.D. in textile technology, chemical engineering, electrical/ electronic engineering, materials engineering, or other relevant fields. Preferences will be given to applicants with a degree from a local university in Hong Kong or from top 100 universities following any of the world university ranking systems.
•        For Research Assistants: applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related disciplines. Preferences will be given to applicants with a degree from a local university.

Monthly Salary:
Postdoctoral Fellow: HKD32,000.
Research Assistant: HKD21,000 (Master Degree), HKD18,000 (Bachelor Degree).
