Description

– Combining the use of Dynamic Light Scattering, cryo-electron microscopy, Ultra Small Angle X-ray Scattering (USAXS), and transmission electron microscopy in a liquid flow cell
– Support the PhD-students working on the same projects

The candidate will work in ambitious experimental projects in the field of patchy colloidal particles. The job will be to contribute to the characterization of the self-assembly behaviour in systems with anisotropic interactions.

The candidate will work at the Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal in close collaboration with the Institute for Solid State Chemistry Bordeaux and the Interdisciplinary Laboratory on Nanoscale and Supramolecular Organization in Paris Saclay (ANR project “Enlarger” http://www.majimix.fr/enlarger-website/)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates should have a completed doctorate in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Materials Science or related fields and be fluent in spoken and written English. The candidate should have a proven track record in the field of soft condensed matter, surface chemistry, and to have a strong experience in colloidal particles’ characterization.
