Thank you for your interest in joining our research group for short term studies at the University of XXX.  Unfortunately, due to financial
constraints, I will not be able to accommodate you. However, further consideration can be given to your request if you are able to secure
financial support from your government or an appropriate international agency.  If you are able to secure financial support, you must indicate
more precisely the length of time you propose for your studies, before further consideration of your request.

Dear Professor,

Thank you very much for considering my short-term visit to your research group. Fortunately, Our school finance department provides a
short-term visit program to support student who want to apply for study abroad, therefore, the financial problem can be satisfied. In addition,
I plan to visit University of XXX for six months, from September 2018 to March 2019. But before that, I need the invitation letter from your
university to apply for the short-term visit program. After our school has agreed, further, I will apply for a visa to the United States of America.

Unfortunately we need to have financial support for our staff in order to accommodate your visit. If such support can be provided as part of your visit, we will be glad to provide the letter of invitation.
