MPhil and PhD Positions in The Kong Kong Polytechnic University with Full Scholarship

Applications are invited for two research positions with full scholarship in the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, starting as early from September 2018. These research positions (MPhil/PhD) are currently available in the area of deep learning for computer vision related problems.

The applicants for PhD positions should have Master's degree in Computer Science or related areas (or completing Master's degree by August 2018) and excellent academic record. The applicants for MPhil positions should have outstanding academic record with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area (or completing Bachelor’s degree by August 2018). The applicants should have excellent programming skills and candidates with experience in computer vision, pattern recognition or biometrics related work may expect preference.
Successful candidate's are expected to work with Dr. Ajay Kumar (http://www.comp.polyu.edu.hk/~csajaykr) in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from September 2018. The scholarships offered are highly attractive and competitive (about 16,000 HK$ per month).
