Functional Nanomaterials （功能纳米材料课题组）课题组非常年轻，所以不用担心来了发不了好的文章，正是来了大展拳脚的时候

研究兴趣-The group research interest lies on the development of surface modified colloidal nanocrystals and the understanding of their chemistry and physics with the aim to use them as functional building blocks. In particular, our work is focused on the synthesis of high-quality inorganic nanocrystals, the engineering of their surface, and their assembly and consolidation into functional nanocrystal-based solids to target applications such thermoelectrics or catalysis, as well as to develop fundamental understanding of structure-property relationships. The interdisciplinary nature of our research aims for a collaborative team of physicists, chemists and material scientists.

基本要求（要求原话）-The flyer as shown in the follows. As you will see, my program is physics, but candidates from other disciplines can also apply, such as chemistry or material science. Another particularity of the program is that the students don't need to apply with a master, they can apply direct from the bachelor. In any case, you can provide my email if any interested student has a question.
背景: 物理化学，化学，材料科学均可以，申请人可以不一定是研究生，本科生也可以申请的，因为奥地利PhD培养模式有些像美国的模式。
此外，无雅思，托福成绩要求，教授可为其开语言证明，但是要通过教授的Skype面试，了解下基本情况。
